WISH YOU WERE HERE

DEVISED BY CHRIS MEADS AND THE COMPANY

Commissioned by the Everyman Theatre, Liverpool, as part of their 2010 Everyword Festival, Wish You Were Here was a show that celebrated family and the great British holiday, and its content was a collage of surprising, surreal and tender holiday memories experienced by Everyman writers and the public and submitted by postcard via a postbox within the foyer of the Everyman Theatre. The cast transformed an empty stage into a camp site and took audiences from the height of a summer's afternoon to sundown and Radio 4's Shipping Forecast.
